Known for his ability to align complex organizations, streamline operations, and drive collaboration across multiple agencies, he has successfully developed and led large-scale training programs and implemented high-impact initiatives that optimize workforce performance and business outcomes. His strategic leadership has been instrumental in restructuring organizations, improving cross-functional team effectiveness, and integrating innovative processes that drive sustainable growth. As an international trainer and consultant, he has worked across the United States, Liberia, and Kenya, advising organizations on best practices in leadership, emergency management, risk mitigation, and operational effectiveness.

With a strong foundation in leadership and business strategy, he holds a BS in Organizational Leadership/Human Resources and an AAS in Fire Science, complemented by professional certifications in emergency management (MNEM), investigations (CFEI), regulatory compliance, and incident command and control. His expertise extends to enterprise risk management and crisis response, having served over 35 years in public safety as a fie chief and emergency manager. He has deployed and acted in leadership roles to large incidents such as Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in 2012. He is also a skilled cause and origin investigator, with experience as an expert witness in both civil and criminal cases.

His leadership journey began after high school, serving in the Minnesota Army National Guard, where he advanced from Combat Medic to NCOIC of the Medical Section Battalion Aid Station, also holding the 16S MOS as a Stinger Missile Gunner. His military training instilled a strong sense of strategic execution, operational planning, and team leadership, which he now applies in corporate and governmental environments to drive business transformation and organizational resilience.
